OUTREACH AND MINISTRY

The purpose of the Outreach Ministry is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone we meet; through personal witnessing, and the sharing the Word of God. To provide spiritual, educational, and social events and activities throughout the community that will promote Godly relationships. To equip individuals to serve one another; first within their families, communities, our nation, and throughout the world.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

The world has mysteries that you confront and problems that you try to solve. However, mysteries are different from problems. The questions, “Does life have meaning?” “Is evil punished and goodness rewarded?” and “What is the cause of suffering?” are mysteries. No matter how many times philosophers and prophets provide answers to these and other of life’s big questions, the questions remain real and pressing in every generation and in every life.

The primary purpose of His Grace Fellowship Chapel Shasta Lake (CCSL) is found in the words of Jesus: 'And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. 31 "And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:30–31)

Jesus is the primary example of which we are to follow and how we are to live each day. Our goal would be to promote a place of worship to our Lord where we can hear His Word, seek His presence, and worship Him. Just as the Father is glorified by our Lord Jesus Christ, so we ought to glorify the presence of the Living God within ourselves. Our desire is to love our neighbors, which CCSL defines as anyone we come in contact with during our everyday lives. As a church we desire to reach out to those in our community; to encourage and lift up, regardless of their nationality, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs.

We seek to meet together as a church body, like-minded people, presenting our hearts and minds to God so that we can be renewed.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Rom. 12:2 NKJV)

Heb. 10-24-25 Think of ways to encourage one another to outbursts of love and good deeds. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near. (NLT)

As our own lives begin to witness the testimony of the victory that we have in Jesus, the commission He set forth for us will be a by-product of who we are. His burden is light.

Matt. 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (NKJV)

Matt. 11:28-29 Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (NLT)

About us
